PUBLISHER ARTICLE PREVIEW
From the original article
OpenAI has acquired Orchestra Bio, a platform that helps biopharma teams coordinate the complex process of drug development. We’re bringing Orchestra’s team and technology together with Rosalind, our AI models and tools for life sciences research. Our goal is to help scientists make discoveries and manage the work needed to turn them into treatments that reach patients sooner.
Developing a new medicine is extraordinarily complex, taking roughly 10 to 15 years on average from target discovery to regulatory approval in the United States. Beyond the science, teams must orchestrate programs across internal departments and external partners, often relying on disconnected systems. We’re now at an inflection point where AI can help take on these specialized tasks and complex workflows.
