PUBLISHER ARTICLE PREVIEW

A construction project can be on schedule in one system and heading over budget in another. The difficulty is often connecting those signals quickly enough for someone to act. Access Construction, a division of The Access Group, is addressing that problem with the latest generation of Access Evo, an agentic AI layer spanning its estimating, project management, and enterprise resource planning software.

Announced on October 15, the release adds construction-specific assistants, research capabilities, and workflow automation intended to carry context between operational and financial activities. Access says the enhanced capabilities are available in the United States, United Kingdom, Ireland, and Australia, with people retaining approval authority over important decisions.

The proposition is to make existing business records useful within the flow of work: finding relevant information, preparing an output, highlighting an exception, and helping someone complete the next step. That could reduce the administrative distance between a field update and a commercial decision. It also makes the quality of the underlying data and the design of approval controls central to whether the technology works.

Access Evo sits across specialist applications rather than replacing them. The company’s announcement identifies Access ConQuest for estimating and tendering, Access Fonn for project delivery, and Access Coins for finance, commercial management, operations, and workforce processes.

The Access Coins Evo product page gives a clearer picture of the financial foundation. Its described capabilities include job-cost reporting, accounts payable and receivable, cash management, payroll, procurement, and project forecasting. The page also identifies period locks and transaction audit trails as controls around the financial workflows.

Meanwhile, Access Fonn provides the field-management context: drawings and version history, site documentation, punch lists, daily reporting, and structured requests for information.
