PUBLISHER ARTICLE PREVIEW

From the original article

A good sales meeting can create an afternoon of administrative work. The buyer wants a revised business case, finance needs a calculator, and the purchasing timeline has changed. An AI assistant may produce a useful draft, but a salesperson still has to move it into the documents and plans everyone is using.

Aligned is targeting that gap with Seller Agent, an AI agent embedded in its shared deal workspace. Announced October 14, 2026, the product can update mutual action plans, rewrite content, retrieve case studies, and build presentations and interactive calculators from natural-language requests.

Seller Agent is launching in beta across Aligned plans, with post-beta pricing still to be announced. Its proposition is straightforward: connect the context of a deal to the work required to advance it, while keeping proposed changes reviewable.

Aligned’s existing platform organizes buyer-facing resources, tasks, timelines, and questions in a persistent workspace. Its mutual action plan software supports joint goals, deadlines, progress tracking, notes, attachments, and discussions associated with individual tasks.

This matters because a deal is a coordinated process rather than a single seller’s conversation. A buyer’s internal champion may need to explain the proposal to finance, procurement may introduce a new deadline, and a technical evaluator may request additional evidence. Updating only a CRM note leaves the shared working materials behind.

Seller Agent is designed to change those materials directly. Aligned calls it the industry’s first AI agent built inside the deal workspace, a positioning claim that the announcement does not independently establish. The more concrete distinction is its ability to operate on the content and plans that sellers and buyers use together.

The launch groups Seller Agent’s capabilities into four areas. Consultation provides deal-specific guidance, drawing on available context and company playbooks. Execution translates a request into changes across workspace sections, content, tabs, and the mutual action plan.

Automation allows representatives to set standing instructions for a deal, including post-call updates and change notifications. Creation generates interactive assets such as financial calculators, decks, and pricing pages inside the workspace, with organization-specific context and branding.

Consider an illustrative example: a buyer’s finance team asks for a clearer savings case before approving the purchase. The seller could ask the agent to revise the executive summary, prepare a calculator, and update the action plan to reflect that dependency.
