Adobe and NVIDIA on October 15, 2026, announced an expansion of their collaboration that optimizes Adobe’s flagship creative and marketing tools — Photoshop, Premiere, Substance 3D, Frame.io and Brand Concierge — for NVIDIA hardware, with the companies saying applications tuned for the RTX Spark superchip deliver up to 2x faster AI processing.
The expansion builds on the strategic partnership the companies unveiled in Adobe’s March 2026 announcement, which brought together Adobe’s creative and marketing workflows, models and technology with NVIDIA’s open models, libraries, research and accelerated computing. According to the companies, the new work is aimed at speeding AI-powered creation, production and personalization, and it extends earlier efforts that included GPU acceleration for media ingestion and intelligence in Frame.io plus ongoing work around Substance 3D, Firefly Foundry and 3D digital twin workflows for enterprise customers.
Adobe is bringing the RTX Spark superchip, launching October 16, 2026, to its agentic creative applications Photoshop, Premiere and Substance 3D. The companies said the applications are RTX-accelerated and optimized for RTX Spark’s unified memory and AI compute, delivering up to 2x faster performance across AI processing, editing, color and effects.
Adobe rearchitected Photoshop around GPU-accelerated compositing, targeting faster and more responsive handling of tasks such as the Remove Tool’s cleanup of unwanted objects and on-canvas effects including Gaussian Blur and Light Leaks. In Premiere, RTX acceleration covers playback, rendering, effects, color and AI-powered tools, and the companies said the tuning produces tangible speed gains for audio and video features including Enhance Speech and Object Mask.
For artists using Substance 3D Painter, they said RTX Spark accelerates the heaviest texturing steps.
