Jax’s PickTurn a weekly report into something people can understand
Commercial announcement

What happened
Anthropic introduced Claude Dashboards and Motion in beta. Dashboards connects to business data sources and shows each chart’s query and last refresh. Motion turns text, charts and images into editable, code-based animations exportable as MP4. Dashboards is on paid plans; Motion is on Team and Enterprise. Enterprise administrators must enable both.
Why it matters
Sales and operations teams could explore a question without waiting for a bespoke report, then explain the result visually. A visible query helps review, but does not establish that the metric is correctly defined. Motion is editable animation, rather than generated video footage.
What to do next
Recreate one existing weekly report using approved data. Check definitions, totals and access permissions against the original. Only then try a short animated explanation. Compare preparation and review time before changing the team’s reporting process.
PUBLISHER ARTICLE PREVIEW
From the original article
Anthropic launched two new beta features for Claude. Dashboards connects data sources like BigQuery, Databricks, Snowflake, or Salesforce and turns them into auto-updating live dashboards via text prompt. Every number shows its underlying query, and results can be piped into tools like Amplitude, Grafana, or Hex, Anthropic says.
