OpenAI Brings GPT-6 With Intelligent UI to All ChatGPT Tiers

OpenAI on October 7, 2026 began rolling out GPT-6 across ChatGPT, introducing a capability called Intelligent UI that lets the chatbot answer questions with fully interactive user interfaces rather than text alone. The rollout starts with paid tiers and reaches the Free and Go tiers on October 8, 2026. In its announcement, OpenAI described Intelligent UI as a development that “marks a significant shift in how people interact with ChatGPT,” and said the new GPT-6 model in ChatGPT is built for the more than 1.2 billion people who use ChatGPT each week.

The company said it introduced the first GPT-6 models for paid customers in September 2026. OpenAI said it trained GPT-6 to compose responses using text, visuals and interactive elements, choosing how they fit together based on the question.
